my children | personal post

I’ve dropped the ball, for over 10 months now. Yikes. It’s been that long since I’ve blogged.

It’s been quiet on here, not here where I sit in my office, but in this space that I choose to share work and client sessions. I’ve been so quiet on social media, and it’s been good! There is so much to keep up with running your own business, and blogging hasn’t been a priority. These past months I’ve worked with beautiful families with the happiest smiles you’ve ever seen and I’ve so loved keeping it all to myself. I might share a few of these sessions, because who doesn’t want to see sleepy newborn smiles? But, honestly I’m more interested in using this space to show you how my clients have chosen to enjoy their images. Because, what do you do with all those images sitting on your memory drive? We have built gallery walls, big thick heirloom albums, milestone books and handfuls of desktop portraits. At the end of the day, I want my work to be enjoyed and cared for and be seen in a tangible form.

I have a yearly book I put together of our babies. These are a few of my favorites from our last session. I’m loving their little personalities at this age, my heart can hardly take it.
