It’s pretty amazing to see one of your dearest friends pregnant. It has been so fun seeing her bump grow over these past 9 months, talking about nursery decor, what books they’re reading, learning about their birth plan, hearing her excitement over phone each time telling me, “Kim, I just can’t wait for this baby to be born. I’m so ready to meet this child.” I hope it’s soon, because the anticipation for Baby K’s arrival makes my heart skip a beat every time I start thinking about it.
For their maternity shoot, I headed to their neck of the woods in Tacoma, down to the waterfront and over to Wright Park. We had amazing light this day, it was perfect. I’m so happy to have documented this time for them, so they will remember the size of her tummy, the feelings welded up inside about meeting their child for the first time, the anticipation on their faces, how much Rob made us laugh with all his funny jokes….I really couldn’t be happier for the two of them. I also cannot wait to meet this child. I’m SO ready;)
Baby K is quite the kicker.
