Welcome to my blog!

I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer based out of Seattle, WA. I love good conversations (best over coffee), old photographs, maps, and listening to stories. I'm totally giddy over new babies, cute couples and my fur babies. I eat too much chocolate and watch too many reality shows, sometimes they go really well together. And, I'm completely crazy about my husband and his darling accent.

My blog is a journal, a personal yet public journey, which documents my story as a photographer. I have met some pretty amazing people and continue to meet more. So go ahead and introduce yourself, I would love to meet you! Feel free to leave a comment or give me a call at 425.354.8620 so we can chat. I look forward to it!

Cheers, Kim

KyLeah + Andrew Engaged | Downtown Anchorage, AK (part 2)

It’s a joy to see them so happy, and to finally meet this man I’ve heard so much about. KyLeah, my youngest cousin getting married….Memories kept flooding back to me this visit, back and forth from then to now. Catching up, reliving the past, still laughing at things that made us giggle when we were young. Long nights talking up into the night, my eyes always more tired than our conversations. I’ve shared a lot with this family, being with them feels like time never passes. There is never enough time. They feel like home to me.

As promised, here is more from KyLeah and Andrew’s engagement shoot. Part 2 from the fun day we had in downtown Anchorage, (in the freezing cold weather). So fun getting to ‘know’ them, I was thrilled  to have them all to myself that day. Love that his guy has her completely wooed and that he is equally smitten.

Kelly Hopp - Cry, all I did is cry and you have me crying again. Your blog speaks to me too, I loved our time, it did seem like no time between visits, and wish we were closer to share more often! You gave me the most precious gift of not just recording my only daughter's wedding, but the love between her and Andrew. You record more than events, you caught the personality and the spark. I can never thank you enough. Time flies and my baby is a women with her own family. Thank you for keeping these treasured molments so I can revisit them. And cry again.
