Welcome to my blog!

I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer based out of Seattle, WA. I love good conversations (best over coffee), old photographs, maps, and listening to stories. I'm totally giddy over new babies, cute couples and my fur babies. I eat too much chocolate and watch too many reality shows, sometimes they go really well together. And, I'm completely crazy about my husband and his darling accent.

My blog is a journal, a personal yet public journey, which documents my story as a photographer. I have met some pretty amazing people and continue to meet more. So go ahead and introduce yourself, I would love to meet you! Feel free to leave a comment or give me a call at 425.354.8620 so we can chat. I look forward to it!

Cheers, Kim

Portraits for Haiti: Help those who need us desperately!

I’m on the bandwagon to help Haiti. I just can’t sit here anymore and ignore the shocking devastation that is happening to all those families in Haiti. I can’t even fathom the pain they are all experiencing, it makes me sick just thinking about it. So, in efforts to do something I’ve rallied with some of my good photog friends to help raise money for Haiti.

Julie Watts, Jessica Hanaumi, Jenna Karwoski, Emma Smith, Shannon Hodson, Amanda Mays and I are all coming together to do portrait sessions for the day. On Sunday February 21st (mark your calendar) we will be taking gorgeous pictures of you, your family, your teen, your children, your dog…..whomever you choose. Each session will last for 30 minutes (located in the Seattle area) and you get at least 10 edited images by March 8th. If you are interested, please email PortraitsForHaiti@jfkstudios.com for an application to schedule a session. All donations will go directly to Haiti relief efforts ($50 minimum donation).

Thank you for reading, I hope to see you on February 21st!
